The first two finalists for this year’s King & Queen of the Ring tournaments have been settled after the June 20, 2025 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
On this week’s show, Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss in their semifinals match, featuring plenty mind games between them, ultimately ending with an Empress Impact for the pinfall.

Later in the show, Randy Orton defeated Sami Zayn, catching him with an RKO after several failed attempts. Earlier in the show, Orton, Zayn, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes had an in-ring promo together, all sharing that they respected one another, but would do whatever it takes to win the tournament and go on to fight for the title.

The remaining semifinals bouts will happen on the June 23rd episode of Monday Night RAW, with Jey Uso against Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill vs. Roxanne Perez.
