Coming out of last night’s WWE NXT Takeover: In Your House pay-per-view event, there were no major injuries although Johnny Gargano did have some tightness in his lower back and hips following his match with Keith Lee.
Io Shirai tweeted the following, reacting to her WWE NXT Women’s title win:
“At last, I can call myself champion. When I think about the tough & painful times, I was able to achieve this, largely in part to your support! I am truly grateful for everyone who gave me courage. Tonight, my chance finally arrived. I don’t have a tag partner, but I definitely have a wonderful family & home.”
Randy Orton took to Twitter on Monday, noting that he was “slapping his leg” after hearing NXT Takeover: In Your House was a good show. It appears this was a joke at the NXT wrestlers who often slap their legs while doing moves such as kicks. Tommasso Ciampa replied, which you can see below:
