WWE Superstar Randy Orton is set to appear as a witness in a trial where his tattoo artist is attempting to sue WWE.
In 2018, Catherine Alexander filed a lawsuit against WWE, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, 2K Games Inc, 2K Sports Inc, Visual Concepts Entertainment, accusing them of infringing of her trademarks.
Alexander believes WWE’s use of the tattoo art on Orton’s body infringes upon her trademarks filed in March 2018, before she filed her suit.
Pwinsider reports that the former WWE World Champion has been summoned to court and that a jury trial will commence this coming Monday.
Anderson has attempted to sort things directly with WWE, but was only offered a $450 fee for the rights to her art.
Randy Orton has been off WWE TV for months with an injury and has not competed since May, when he and Riddle lost the RAW Tag Team Championships to The Usos.
