— Jackie Fargo, who was big in Mid-South Wrestling and is featured heavily in the documentary Memphis Heat, is currently in ICU due to pneumonia in both lungs. He was reported as having passed away a few days ago on Wikipedia but that isn’t the cast.
— Randy Orton is scheduled for the January 16th RAW as well as the Royal Rumble. No word on if he’ll be wrestling as of this writing.
— Randy Savage was mentioned among celebrities who passed away on Fox News’ The Five. The show had Andrea Tantaros mention that she was a huge wrestling fan as a kid, then gaffed as she said that she remembered Savage saving Hulk Hogan from Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III.
— Samurai TV had its annual New Year’s Eve wrestling show, which was main evented by a 76-man tag team match. Included were Jun Kasai, Jaki Numazawa, Makoto Oishi, Daisuke Sasaki, Great Kojika, Daisuke Sekimoto, Yasu Urano, Taka Michinoku, Sanshiro Takagi, Atsushi Kotoge, Shadow WX, Ryuji Yamakawa, Yuko Miyamoto, Takashi Sasaki, Ryuji Ito, Kengo Mashimo, Danshoku Dino and Abdullah Kobayashi. Kobayashi got the winning pinfall.
— Stacy Keibler is in the latest National Enquirer as part of a story about the best and worst beach bodies in Hollywood.
