As noted earlier today here on eWrestlingNews.com, this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live! saw a rise in viewership and ratings this week. Tuesday’s episode brought in a 0.80 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.584 million viewers. Those numbers are up 5% and 1% from last week’s 0.76 demo rating and audience of 2.569 million. The rating was the best since the July 18th episode had a 0.81, while the audience was the best since June 27th saw 2.603 million viewers.
WWE SmackDown Live! ranked #1 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily. It beat out OWN’s The Haves and Have Nots, which had a 0.62 and 2.328 million viewers.
MONDAY’S WWE RAW RATING (RECAP): WWE’s Monday Night RAW saw its ratings rise for the second week in a row. Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW brought in a 1.05 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 3.240 million viewers. Those numbers were up 2% each from last week’s 1.03 demo rating and 3.163 million viewers. The rating was the best since the July 17th episode four weeks ago. The viewership, meanwhile was the highest since all the way back on April 17th when the show scored an audience of 3.346 million.
WWE Monday Night RAW ranked #2 for the night among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. VH-1’s Love & Hip-Hop won the night with a 1.13 and 2.284 million viewers. The hourly numbers were:
8 PM EST: 1.05 demo rating (3.263 million viewers)
9 PM EST: 1.06 demo rating (3.314 million viewers)
10 PM EST: 1.03 demo rating (3.144 million viewers)
