The Reason Why Mick Foley Was “Fired” On RAW, The WWE RAW Attendance, & More

According to Michael Cole, there were 16,160 fans at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for Monday’s RAW. That was a legitimate sellout.

As seen during the opening segment on Monday’s WWE RAW broadcast, Stephanie McMahon “fired” Mick Foley as the General Manager. Foley opened the show and revealed that he was taking a leave of absence after his actions last week, but then changed his mind. Foley claimed he was given cue cards before he walked out and began to take shots at Triple H and Stephanie McMahon before Stephanie came out and fired him.

For those unaware, Foley has been planning to take time off in order to undergo hip replacement surgery.

WWE announced on Monday that the RAW brand will be headed to Australia for a tour later this year. The tour will run from September 14th through the 16th with the following dates:

September 14th: Melbourne September 15th: Sydney September 16th: Brisbane

“We are excited to bring WWE Live back to Australia” said Paul Dainty, President & CEO of TEG Dainty. “This year will mark 15 years since the first WWE Live event in Melbourne Australia which to this day still stands as the biggest in the country and just like last year’s sold-out tour, we promise action-filled nights that will have young and old on their feet roaring in excitement”.
