On this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Indi Hartwell and Duke Hudson appeared to be teasing a future together after their “significant others” (in storyline) were legitimately released from WWE due to budget cuts last Friday.
In a backstage segment that aired on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Hartwell was shown looking visibly upset and staring at her ring finger without saying a word. Obviously, that was a clear reference to Dexter Lumis being released.
That’s when Duke Hudson, who was involved in a storyline relationship with Persia Pirotta, came in to try to console Hartwell. When Hudson leaned in to get a little closer, Hartwell said, “Oh hell no!” As she stormed out, Hudson said “You wish”.
Pirotta, who was released last Friday alongside Dexter Lumis and eight others, took to Twitter and wrote the following:
“Dang the body isn’t even cold yet!”
