WWE has introduced a new doctrine for their developmental talents in NXT 2.0.

As previously reported here on eWn, WWE SVP James Kimball revealed that the company evaluates developmental wrestlers every six months. If they are not ready for NXT TV after two years, they will be released.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the new doctrine doesn’t just apply to the company’s newest signings as those who have been in NXT 2.0 for a while are also under pressure. It was said that many people on the developmental brand are “on the clock” right now.

Nikkita Lyons, Bron Breakker, Tiffany Stratton, Edris Enofe, Malik Blade, and Hank Walker have been just some of the talents that have been pushed since WWE NXT was rebranded.
