Initially, Cole’s contract was set to expire after NXT’s Great American Bash last month. However, the company was able to come to terms with Adam Cole on a one month agreement/contract extension.
Reportedly, WWE is frustrated with this current contract situation. It is believed that this is the reason for former WWE SVP of Talent Development Canyon Ceman being let go last month.
In a update, Cole is believed to have turned down “multiple” contract offers over the last week, according to PWUnlimited. The details of those contract offers are unknown at this time. As always, the staff here at eWN will provide updates as they become available.
