Konosuke Takeshita is in store for a big push as part of the AEW roster, albeit one that won’t start this week.
The 27-year-old Takeshita signed with AEW in November of last year after a successful tour of the United States.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Takeshita has a “big push on the horizon.”
Meltzer noted that this push won’t start in Takeshita’s upcoming match with Bryan Danielson, as the American Dragon must remain undefeated until February 8.
If Bryan remains undefeated, he will receive a sixty-minute Iron Man match against AEW World Champion MJF at Revolution.
