AEW are continuing to struggle with recent ticket sales, according to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In the latest Observer, Dave Meltzer notes that a serious slump in ticket sales has affected several of AEW’s events.

Meltzer reports that the October 5th Dynamite in Washington, DC is at 2,265 tickets sold and the October 7th Rampage/Battle of the Belts in the same building is at 1,988 sold.

AEW had reportedly hoped that the recent AEW Grand Slam episodes of Dynamite and Rampage would have improved interest in the product, but are said to be ‘still waiting’ for the boost.

A November 4th taping of Dynamite in Atlantic City, NJ has 776 tickets sold, compared to 5,500 paid and 5,900 in the building in February this year at the same arena.

The November 16th edition of Dynamite in Bridgeport, CT has currently sold 1,682 tickets, while the last time AEW was there, the company had sold triple the amount of tickets this far removed from the event.

AEW has had three good numbers, the promotion’s debut in Toronto, their debut in Seattle in January next year, and Full Gear 2022.
