AAW took to Twitter today, announcing that MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone is dealing with an injury and will no longer be appearing at its “Destination Chicago” event on Thursday. Additionally, Brayden Lee is dealing with an injury and won’t be appearing at the show either.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Hammerstone is believed to have suffered a concussion. It should be noted that he did work the MLW house show in El Paso, Texas this past weekend.
***DESTINATION CHICAGO INJURY UPDATE***
Due to injuries, both @alexhammerstone and @TheBraydenLee will be unable to be a part of Destination Chicago this Thursday night.
We will announce the changes to the card as soon as possible.
