As we reported yesterday here on eWn, Andrade took to Twitter to confirm the rumors that he asked for his WWE release. For what it’s worth, the company refused to grant it.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Andrade’s fiancée, Charlotte Flair, pushed for a storyline where she’d work with him as a way to get him featured on WWE TV. That pitch was ultimately turned down.
Andrade has not been featured on WWE TV since October.
