It appears that Chelsea Green is departing Impact Wrestling.
According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE is said to be very interested in bringing back Chelsea Green to the company. On last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Green said she wanted to end Mickie James ‘once and for all.’
At the most recent set of TV tapings in Las Vegas, NV, the two women faced off in a match that featured the stipulation that the loser must leave the company. This match will be airing on next week’s IMPACT! on AXS TV broadcast.
James defeated Green at the taping and it’s said that a vignette will air to confirm Green’s exit from the company.
As of this writing, there is no word on if Green has agreed to terms with WWE. One source said that she wouldn’t give up her spot in Impact unless that were the case.
