CM Punk did not travel alone to make his surprise appearance backstage at this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
The two-time former AEW World Champion was briefly backstage at last night’s event in Chicago, IL, before being asked to leave by security.
During today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Punk traveled with several of the WWE talent to Chicago for the event. He said,
“He flew from Florida to Chicago on a flight with a lot of the talent…He talked to Paul Levesque. That was the main guy he talked to.”
In addition to Triple H, Punk also spoke to The Miz and the two “cleared the air” about the issues Punk has had with the A-Lister.
This week’s backstage appearance at RAW marked Punk’s first time attending a WWE wrestling event since walking out of the promotion in January 2014.
