“He messed up multiple times with FOX…”
Dave Meltzer, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, reveals new insight as to what happened behind the scenes with Eric Bischoff leading to his release earlier this week.
According to sources quoted by Dave, it appears a large portion of the issues with Eric was his lack of vision and stamina to keep up with the hectic schedule often associated with the backstage culture of WWE:
“Eric had absolutely no vision, and once we were headed into FOX, everything was falling through the cracks,” said one WWE official. “He messed up multiple times with FOX. Eric also had no stamina for the rigors of the job.”
Now, Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey, the former head writer for Monday Night Raw will be the key people driving SmackDown.
