According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was some tension backstage this past week in Impact Wrestling when the company was shooting an angle involving Brian Cage’s wedding in Las Vegas, NV. The video shoot took place very early in the morning and many of the people hadn’t had breakfast and they went three hours without water, coffee or food. The people shooting the footage were joking rather than complaining as things progressed about not having food and water. There was one point where Ethan Page said that it would be “nice to have something to drink”.
Impact Wrestling producer Jimmy Jacobs then began to tell everyone that if they didn’t like it, they didn’t have to be there. He then stopped himself and attempted to take it back, since he knew immediately that he came off badly.
