According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, longtime employee Gerald Brisco has been released from WWE. Brisco is 73 years old and has been with the company since 1984. The release happened within the last week or two.
Brisco was a longtime in-ring performer with his brother Jack. He had worked in WWE’s main offices and was a close adviser to Vince McMahon. During the Attitude Era, he was brought to TV alongside Pat Patterson to become one of Vince McMahon’s “stooges”.
As of this writing, WWE has not confirmed Brisco’s release.
