According to a report from BayNews9.com, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has officially settled his legal battle over his sex tape. According to the site, Hogan has reached a settlement with Cox Radio and Cox DJs Mike “Cowhead” Calta and Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd. This comes after a $110 million lawsuit was brought against them. As reported, Gawker reached a $31 million settlement with Hogan on November 2nd.

According to the lawsuit, the defendants conspired to leak the sex tape with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Bubba The Love Sponge. Of course, Gawker wound up with the video and posted snippets of it online. In 2015, the National Enquirer revealed that Hogan made racist comments during the sex tape and he was fired from WWE over that.

Hogan’s $140 million lawsuit ($31 million settlement) actually put the Gawker website out of business. Hogan then sued Cox Radio and others for the remaining judgment. Bubba the Love Sponge was under contract with Cox Radio and Calta and Loyd worked there as well. According to the lawsuit, the sex tape began making its way around Cox Radio studios in early 2012.

If everyone didn’t reach a settlement, a jury trial was scheduled to begin in January 2021.
