According to Fightful Select, Impact Wrestling recently offered a contract to independent wrestler Masha Slamovich during their most recent tapings in Nashville, Tennessee.

Reportedly, Slamovich worked a “high-profile” match during this week’s tapings, and was offered a contract immediately after the contest. While their has been no confirmation from either party on Slamovich’s contractual decision, Masha has been making a name for herself on the independent circuit as of recent.

Slamovich’s earliest noted match took place on July 8, 2016, in Tokyo, Japan, where she would be on the losing end of a six-woman tag team contest. She would continue to work the Japanese scene before debuting in the United States at WOW Women of Warriors 6 in a singles loss to Tasha Steelz. In the years following, Slamovich has made appearances for Limitless, New Texas Pro, Game Changer Wrestling, and Impact Wrestling.

The current GSW Women’s World Champion most recently appeared on AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, and the NWA EmPowerrr pay-per-view event. This dominant women’s performer would be a significant signing for Impact Wrestling’s women’s division.
