UPDATE: According to a report from Pwinsider, Impact Wrestling issued some of their talent “bonus” pay for working an extra long day in Las Vegas, NV doing pre-tapes.

We previously reported here on eWn that those who did the pre-tapes for the Brian Cage/Melissa Santos wedding that will air this week were not pleased about the lengthy day of shooting. Numerous talents complained about having no breakfast, food, or water during the filming.

With that being said, Impact Wrestling officials took notice and offered bonuses to thank talent and “make-good” on the issues.

ORIGINAL: According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was some tension backstage this past week in Impact Wrestling when the company was shooting an angle involving Brian Cage’s wedding in Las Vegas, NV. The video shoot took place very early in the morning and many of the people hadn’t had breakfast and they went three hours without water, coffee or food. The people shooting the footage were joking rather than complaining as things progressed about not having food and water. There was one point where Ethan Page said that it would be “nice to have something to drink”.

Impact Wrestling producer Jimmy Jacobs then began to tell everyone that if they didn’t like it, they didn’t have to be there. He then stopped himself and attempted to take it back, since he knew immediately that he came off badly.
