According to a report from Fightful, WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Io Shirai is dealing with an injury and that’s the reason she hasn’t been featured on WWE television in recent weeks.
As of this writing, there is no word on the severity of the injury. With that being said, she is not a part of any creative plans for the time being.
Additionally, Shirai is said to be “well liked” in both NXT and WWE. The company is currently hoping she’ll be able to return “in the summer.”
In other news, The Rock took to Twitter on Friday, posting two new posters for his upcoming “Black Adam” superhero movie. The official trailer for the film, which will be released next year, will come out on Monday:
