WWE’s NXT Injury Report had Io Shirai in it after she “tweaked her knee” during Wednesday’s match against Toni Storm.
It was noted that Shirai was sent for a precautionary MRI and her status was listed as “day to day.”
Shirai posted a photo of a knee brace on Twitter, which indicates real injury did occur.
While the exact injury is unknown, Shirai is expected to be out for two months, according to the latest Wrestler Observer Radio.
