Report – Jeff Hardy Sent Home From The Road By WWE

Jeff Hardy has reportedly been sent home by WWE.

According to a report from Pwinsider, Jeff Hardy was sent home from WWE’s live events over the weekend. At Sunday night’s WWE live event in Corpus Christi, Texas, Hardy was not present backstage and the word making the rounds was that he had been “sent home” for unknown reasons.

For what it’s worth, Hardy worked Saturday night’s WWE live event in Edinburg, Texas, as he teamed up with Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre against The Bloodline.

During the bout, Hardy spent most of the match in the ring being worked over by Roman Reigns and The Usos. As the match went on, Hardy apparently became “more sluggish.” When Hardy made the hot tag to Drew McIntyre, he left through the crowd and was followed out by security and he never returned for the post-match celebration.

During Sunday night’s show in Corpus Christi, Texas, Rey Mysterio replaced Hardy in the tag-team match.

As of this writing, there is no word on why Jeff Hardy was sent home.
