According to a report from SportsKeeda, WWE is still moving ahead with their plans to expand into India. The company reportedly has “big plans” for the country this year. The site also reports that Jeff Jarrett is heavily involved in the expansion.
Jarrett is very familiar with the country as he worked on TNA’s Ring ka King project.
As we reported last month here on eWn, WWE is planning to shoot a special for the country later this month. There are some rumors that the tapings will take place on January 22 and the show will air on January 26, which is India’s Republic Day.
