During the latest edition of The Agenda Podcast, former WWE creative team writer Tom Casiello claimed that former WWE “Diva” Kaitlyn was originally going to be a part of The Wyatt Family when they were being called up to the main roster. Kaitlyn won the WWE “Divas” Championship in her hometown of Houston, Texas and held it for 153 days before losing to AJ Lee in July of 2013. Following that loss, she wrestled for around six months and then disappeared before departing WWE on January 8th, 2014.
According to Casiello, there was a pitch to have Kaitlyn be a part of The Wyatt Family stable as she was without a storyline. She “very likely” would have been Sister Abigail. As you know by now, Bray Wyatt mentions Sister Abigail often during his promos, but she’s yet to actually appear on WWE TV. Bray Wyatt played the persona himself during a recent feud with Finn Balor.
