Dave Meltzer has a note in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter about a potential solo run in New Japan-Pro Wrestling for EVIL of the faction, Los Ingobernables de Japón.
EVIL and SANADA did well in the most recent G1 Climax and EVIL was afforded the opportunity to wrestle Jericho in an IWGP Intercontinental Championship match at last year’s NJPW Power Struggle.
“One idea talked about for 2020 is breaking Evil away from LIJ and Sanada and giving him a strong singles push.”
Currently, the main singles star in Los Ingobernables de Japón is Tetsuya Naito. Naito will be involved in the Double Gold Dash at Wrestle Kingdom 14 on January 4 & 5, 2020.
