At the closing bell on Monday, WWE’s stock was at $39.87. That is up $0.72 (1.84%) from Friday’s closing price.
According to the @WrestleVotes Twitter account, much of the RAW talent found out what they’d be doing tonight within the last hour or so. Many didn’t find out until after 5PM EST, just hours before the show is set to go live.
This is nothing new as RAW has been getting late-rewrites and script changes for months now. Vince McMahon often comes in and changes everything up at the very last minute, sometimes with script changes still taking place while the show is airing live. Obviously, this frustrates talent as they have very little time to rehearse their matches and/or memorize their promo lines.
