Matt “Evan Bourne” Sydal appears to have suffered an injury at Saturday night’s EVOLVE 139 event. Sydal left after his match with Leon Ruff. EVOLVE founder Gabe Sapolsky noted that Sydal was being looked at backstage after the match. He said,
“Matt Sydal is receiving treatment in back. He will be ok.”
A fan noted that Ruff hit Sydal “the wrong way” with a move, saying, “Leon Ruff seemingly hit him the wrong way with a move. He got up, rolled out of the ring and walked to the back. Ref went after him..and said he couldn’t continue and that was it.”

Leon Ruff seemingly hit him the wrong way with a move. He got up, rolled out of the ring and walked to the back. Ref went after him..and said he couldn’t continue and that was it.
