According to a report from Pwinsider, MLW and WWE attorneys were in contact this past week over allegations of contract tampering.
According to sources, the allegations aren’t related to Davey Boy Smith Jr. appearing on The Bump last week but rather in regard to “multiple talents.” For those unaware, talent under contract with MLW are not allowed to work any dates for WWE or have any direct communication with WWE. If that were to occur, MLW Superstars would be in breach of their contracts.
MLW officials reportedly have an “abundance” of evidence supporting their case if the courts were to get involved but they are hoping it doesn’t have to go that far.
WWE sources are downplaying the idea of any tampering.
