According to a report from Fightful, former WWE Superstar Shane “Swerve” Strickland is being sought after by several companies following his release from WWE.
Strickland and the rest of the Hit Row faction were released from WWE in mid-November. Following his release, Strickland was contacted by several companies about bringing him in to work for them. There are plans for him to work for at least one “major” promotion.
The report also notes that AEW asked about Strickland’s availability once he became a free agent. Additionally, NJPW USA has reached out with “at least a very firm overture.” And finally, MLW will likely be making an effort to bring him back.
Strickland will be appearing at TERMINUS’ second show, as well as Wrestling REVOLVER’s Swerve’s House event.
