Several top NJPW officials still aren’t sure when Mercedes Mone will be able to make her return to the company.
Mone suffered a leg or foot injury back in May at the NJPW Resurgence pay-per-view event.
When Mone is able to return to the company, the current plan is for her to be involved in a New Japan Strong title match with Giulia. It’s possible the title will change hands during that match as the belt was created specifically for Mone to defend at United States events.
