On Thursday, WWE announced the releases of several wrestlers such as Peyton Royce, Samoa Joe, Billie Kay, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Kalisto, Bo Dallas, and Wesley Blake.
According to Fightful, John Laurinaitis has been the one making the phone calls and is citing “budget cuts” as the reason for the WWE releases.
Keep in mind WWE gave this same reason to those who were let go on the same exact day last year.
