Over the weekend, several reports surfaced stating that Renee Paquette would be heading to All Elite Wrestling in the near future.
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, Paquette was contacted by WWE to return to the company and she turned it down, instead choosing to be closer to her husband Jon Moxley in AEW. Of course, Moxley recently signed a five-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling.
The report notes that WWE had contacted Paquette prior to their shake-up of the commentary teams. They reportedly wanted her to be on one of the commentary teams, but Paquette turned down the offer.
As of this writing, AEW hasn’t confirmed Paquette’s signing.
