According to a report from Pwinsider, Sunday night’s ROH “Death Before Dishonor” pay-per-view event will likely be the final live event for the company this year. Several sources are saying that Ring of Honor will be holding off on future live events due to the ongoing pandemic.

While ROH originally had plans to run several live events this fall, they have decided to wait over concerns about the Delta variant-fueled surge of COVID-19 and how it may affect their touring schedule going forward. The company has extremely strict policies in place for all of their talent and often quarantine them for days before their TV tapings or pay-per-view events.

ROH will be taping their next set of TV shows later today (Monday) and Tuesday in Philadelphia, PA. The November TV tapings are currently set for Baltimore, MD. As far as holding live events go, those decisions will be made on a “week to week” basis.

As of this writing, there is no word on if the Final Battle pay-per-view event will take place in front of live fans. The company is currently planning to hold that event in Baltimore.
