According to Brad Shepard, WWE will see the largest batch of NXT call-ups that has been seen to date during the fall. The rumor is that the call-ups are being done in preparation for SmackDown! Live’s jump to FOX in October.
Shepard also claims that WWE SmackDown! Live’s move to FOX will affect RAW just as much. Also, several members of the NXT brand will likely be released in order to “control the flow,” specifically non-essential talent.
To add to this, the same source has indicated that this fall will have the biggest exodus of NXT call-ups to the main roster to date. I’m told the week of the changeover to Fox will effect #RAW just as much. #WWE https://t.co/vzpcs8xikH

Also, this means that a few names in #NXT will be on the chopping block to control the flow. They’re going to be more open to letting non-essential talent go. #WWE https://t.co/kXlfTfSlDM
