As we reported last week here on eWn, AEW will be moving their Revolution pay-per-view event to early March. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, the show is being moved from February 27th to March 7th. This will mark AEW’s first-ever pay-per-view event on a Sunday.
The reason for the move is because February 27th will be Canelo Alvarez’s next boxing match on pay-per-view, and they didn’t want to go head-to-head with that. The company had considered March 6th as the possible new date but UFC 259 is taking place that day.
The following matches are confirmed for the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event:
Street Fight:
Sting and Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage and Ricky Starks
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match:
The Young Bucks vs. Winner of Upcoming Tag Team Battle Royal
