As seen during last night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event, Prince Nana made his return to the company and revealed that he had purchased Tully Blanchard Enterprises. With the purchase, the Gates of Agony, Brian Cage and Jonathan Gresham will now be known as The Embassy. Of course, Gresham has requested his release so he’s likely out of the group.
According to a report from Fightful, Blanchard was not backstage at ROH Death Before Dishonor. With that being said, there are conflicting reports as to why he wasn’t at the show. There were several people questioning whether he missed his travel arrangements or simply didn’t show up. Another source said his prison ministry group played a factor in him not appearing at the show.
Whatever the case may be, the ROH talent and staff who asked where Blanchard was were basically told he is done with the company. There are no plans for him to appear in Ring of Honor going forward.
