There were some reports over the past several weeks that Eric Bischoff would be starting as SmackDown! Live Executive Director at Tuesday night’s TV tapings, but that did not reportedly happen. Bischoff was not backstage at the show and didn’t have any impact on the creative direction.
Also, Bischoff was not involved in any of the creative meetings involved in putting the show together. We reported last week that Bischoff recently moved to Stamford in order to begin working in his new capacity for the company. The changes aren’t going to happen overnight, though.
