According to PWTorch.com’s Wade Keller, the wrestlers involved in the men’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday night did not know that Brock Lesnar was going to return and win the briefcase/contract. According to their report, the talent involved went to the ring not knowing who was going to win. Mustafa Ali was actually told earlier in the day that he was going to win the match. That was a late change in and of itself. As of last week, Drew McIntyre and Andrade were said to have been the leading candidates to win the match.
In the gorilla position backstage just prior to the wrestlers going to the ring, they were told that the eighth entrant would be a mystery wrestler and would tip Ali over at the end just as it appeared he was going to win. They had no idea who it would be, though.
Brock Lesnar kept hidden backstage and wasn’t seen all day until he came through the backstage area for his entrance.
