PWInsider is reporting that both WWE and Impact Wrestling officials had a meeting last week at WWE headquarters in Connecticut that is believed to have members of Triple H’s team there as well as Scott D’Amore and Ed Nordholm from Impact where both sides had a general discussion.
Both promotions have been building a relationship over the last few years as WWE is allowing footage of Impact to be shown for certain programming and paying for material from their video library for content on the WWE Network. One Impact Wrestling source stated that it had nothing to do with any kind of potential sale.
