This shouldn’t come as a surprise to many of you but WWE has no interest in bringing back Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) to the company despite his constant claims saying he’ll be returning in the near future.
While El Patron continues to tell close friends that he’ll be returning to WWE once his legal issues are resolved, that is simply not the case. El Patron will be going on trial on charges of sexual assault but it was once again delayed earlier this week.
According to a report from Fightful, there have been no recent conversations between Patron and WWE. One source said, “Could you imagine if we let go of some of the people we did, only to bring him in? There’s no f**king way that happens.”
In addition to that, multiple sources say the company would not put Paige in a position of having to ever be around Patron if they could help it.
After yet another delay earlier this week, Patron’s trial on four charges of sexual assault and a charge of aggravated kidnapping is set to begin on December 13th in San Antonio, Texas.
