According to a report from Fightful, WWE is currently looking at their options as it pertains to NXT Champion Finn Balor and his jaw injury. As previously reported here on eWn, Balor had his jaw broken in two places and had surgery last Friday to repair the damage.
Several pitches of possible storylines for “worst case scenario situations” have been discussed in the event that Balor isn’t able to return anytime soon. As of this writing, there hasn’t been any talk of stripping him of the title. WWE is hoping to avoid that since they just had to do it with Karrion Kross.
