According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is currently only looking at signing wrestlers who are under the age of 30.
WWE officials are said to be “very aware” of the aging aspect when it comes to its current roster and developmental talent. Due to this, they are trying to sign younger talent.
Of course, there are some exceptions to the rule, especially if the talent have experience and are good/established in-ring workers. Another exception would be if the talent built their name elsewhere for another company, such as Eli “LA Knight” Drake and Taya Valkyrie.
