According to reports, WWE never had any plans for Liv Morgan following the Lashley/Lana wedding storyline. During the wedding, Morgan came out and revealed that she used to date Lana. The two feuded for several weeks after that but the storyline was eventually dropped.
Paul Heyman reportedly booked the Liv Morgan wedding spot as a way to pop the crowd but there were never any plans to follow up on it.
