While the show will be moving to the USA Network later this month, WWE NXT will not be treated like a “main roster” brand. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the idea of bringing people from NXT to RAW and SmackDown! Live as main roster callups will continue. As previously reported, there are plans for NXT talent to be called up at the draft special in October.
Also, the WWE announce teams for the three shows are expected to be separated. That means Corey Graves won’t be working SmackDown! Live anymore.
As of this writing, the WWE draft is planned for the second week of SmackDown! Live’s move to FOX Sports in order to try and keep the ratings momentum going.
