Shortly after WrestleMania, Luke Harper sent out a tweet announcing that he requested his release from WWE.
However, it appears that WWE will not be letting Luke go anytime soon.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Harper’s contract was set to expire in November but WWE has tacked on an extra six months due to the time that Harper was out with injury.
This is very similar to the situation that Neville/PAC endured when he was trying to get out of his WWE contract.
