Rhea Ripley was the last woman standing at the end of the latest Women’s Royal Rumble match, but the Judgment Day member briefly suffered a dislocated knee during the match.
Ripley, the #1 entrant, lasted over 61 minutes before last eliminating Liv Morgan (the #2 entrant) and now holds the record for the longest Women’s Rumble match performance.
At the Royal Rumble 2023 post-show press conference, Ripley spoke about how she felt after the match. She said,
“I’m obviously very beat up. My knees are not good in general. My knee dislocated for a second in the beginning, but it popped back in. If anything, I can smell blood in my nose.”
Ripley will now have the option to challenge for the RAW Women’s Championship, currently held by Bianca Belair, or go for Charlotte Flair’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.
