WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is shooting down claims that he tested positive for COVID-19. During an interview with The New York Post, Flair said that his wife has it but he doesn’t. He said,

“That is absolutely incorrect. My wife does [have the virus]… we live in a 5,000 square foot home. I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”

Flair’s wife is Wendy Barlow, who played Fifi the Maid in WCW. In the NY Post article, it is noted that Flair was seen out at a Starbucks in Georgia without having a mask on. When he was questioned about it, Flair hung up the phone. He later sent a text saying that his “health is excellent.”

It’s interesting to note that Ric Flair was backstage at RAW despite his wife testing positive and the two of them living in the same house. That obviously hasn’t gone over well with many WWE Superstars. Flair is 71 years old and many are questioning if the risk is really worth the reward by having him there and around all the other talent and staff, especially with his wife testing positive.
