Ric Flair is far from thrilled to see wrestlers earning more online with projects than what they are earning in the ring.
Following Mandy Rose’s release from WWE, it was reported that she was earning far more on her website than her NXT deal and reached one million dollars in December 2022.
Appearing on Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, Flair discussed the practice of wrestlers making more outside of the ring. He said,
“Social media can make or break anybody, and they got kids now making millions of dollars that couldn’t even walk in the goddamn ring with me and Book. I swear to God, they couldn’t wrestle 30 minutes if they had too, much less, you know, do it every day.”
It was reported last month that CJ ‘Lana’ Perry has earned more on her subscription page compared to her highest-paying contract with WWE.
